Ways to Support ConnectioN Point

To Give Monetarily Please Go

OpeN Shelf

Life is hard and we all fall on times where we need one another. At Open Shelf (Connection Point's food pantry), we hope to remind people just how much worth they have, even if they feel like life has knocked them down. We hope our pantry provides more than just food---we hope it provides real community.

OpeN shelf relies on the generosity of our donors to supply needed items to our guests.

Below is a list of needed items.

Laundry Detergent
Deodorant
Razors
Toilet Paper (critically low)
Bars of soap

Small Dish Soap
Small Containers of Clorox Wipes
Shampoo and Conditioner
Pads and Tampons
Toothbrushes and Toothpaste
Hand Sanitizer
Paper Towels

Welcome Shelf

“OpeN Shelf” has been a staple for years in the outreach ministry of ConnectioN Point. It is a food pantry, but the staff offer more than food during the conversations and relationships that take place with those who come to accept the gifts of OpeN Shelf.

A new venture to expand this ministry has begun, called “Welcome Shelf.” The plan is to provide familiarity and therefore comfort to persons who may be new to ConnectioN Point or new to Lincoln or new to the United States.

Don’t we all appreciate going places or finding resources that “feel like home”?! The New Welcome Shelf is an attempt to provide “just what someone was looking for” to our new friends at ConnectioN Point.
