Building
Community

ConnectioN Point is located in the heart of Lincoln, Nebraska. Our goal is to connect people to purpose-centered missional communities where they can engage in meaningful acts of mercy and justice for the public good. We strive to be a safe and welcoming space for people of all ages, races, nationalities, socioeconomic statuses, gender identities, sexual orientations, and religions to gather together.

At ConnectioN Point, we can connect you to direct service opportunities such as volunteering with our Open Shelf food and hygiene pantry, we can advise you or your organization about starting or strengthening mercy and justice efforts in your own church or community, and we can connect you to other churches, organizations, and individuals in what we call “missional communities.”

Missional communities are groups of people from different churches and organizations who are strategically working together to focus on a specific cause such as racial justice, environmentalism, or LGBTQ+ inclusion and justice.  Individuals, organizations, and churches choose to collaborate in these missional communities because they understand that we can have a bigger impact when we work together and pool our collective power, gifts, and experiences.
